| I am based in Philadelphia and realized that for any type of continuing education in the makeup industry you had to travel out of the city; hence the creation of The Makeup Studio Inc.
Usually to learn the basics or to learn how to airbrush foundation on, you have to sign up for a class in LA or NY. The same goes for taking a class on how to work for a TV show, or how to get a job in the union or doing a movie. Then they promote you to those areas. Philadelphia has changed and started to become more of a city that attracts movie productions, magazines and TV productions. We have wonderful talented people who could be working right here. |
With 20 years of experience, Mindy's clientele includes many local and national celebrities. Her work is featured in Vogue, Town & Country and Best of Philadelphia.
